Now you can use Financials as the springboard for a quicker and easier budget cycle. We’ve combined the power and control of CODA with the familiarity and convenience of Microsoft® Excel, to streamline the seeding, preparation, manipulation, authorization and production of budgets, based on (and updating) your Financials data.

CODA Plan 2gether extends the powerful, secure, two-way integration between CODA products and Excel to deliver a highly intuitive, rapidly implemented, fully integrated budgeting and planning tool. Building upon our standard Planning product, we have applied our process management and collaboration tools to deliver an enhanced solution, in which control of distributing, revising and approving budgets and maintaining correct versions of revised budgets is automated – making the coordination of recurring budget cycles much more efficient.

• Easy budget design and seeding, eliminating the need to re-key or cut & paste.
  With the simple drag-and-drop tools, you can quickly create re-useable templates for baseline budget packs, populated with current year data and forecasts from Financials for comparison purposes.
• Publication of budgets for authorization and upload back into Financials.
  Once prepared, the budget workbooks (including any guidance notes you want to incorporate) can be published quickly and easily to each participant in the process for agreement/adjustment and authorization. Intermediate and final versions of the budgets can then be fed back into Financials and reported on, as required.
• Straightforward administration and security control with “Toolkit” components.
  Additional administrative flexibility and control has been built in as standard, including security settings to control which functions within the product each user is allowed to access.

  The system offers the additional option of publishing the budgets as a Manager website and tasks. This interface with our CODA 2control process management solution makes the entire budgeting cycle more collaborative, efficient, controlled and auditable:
