Microsoft® Word integration – easy creation and output of standard documents
CODA’s technology partnership with Microsoft enables you to maximize the return on both your investment in CODA solutions and the Microsoft technologies and skills that you already have across your organization.
As well as recent solutions such as XL ,Planning and CODA Plan 2gether, there are new tools for Financials users to output data for a range of day-to-day documents into Microsoft® Word. These include reminder letters, remittance advices, payment listings and customer statements.
These tools make use of the SmartDocuments feature in the Professional edition of Microsoft® Office 2003. They enable users to select data from the CODA database and incorporate it into Microsoft® Word templates for the purposes of remittance advice notes, payment listings, reminder letters and customer statements. It comes with some ready-made sample templates that can be quickly customized for your organization and users are also able to create their own templates in the style and format of their choice. Once created, the documents can then be saved, printed or e-mailed directly to the recipient.
Microsoft® Word integration makes producing these types of standard document:
- fast – the tools are simple to install and easy to use
- straightforward – in particular, payment listings can be produced far more easily
