Our latest release (code-named “Neon”) is, quite simply, the largest and most significant set of advances that we have ever made to CODA solutions. It is a massive £15m investment in new and enhanced products and the result of almost 300-man years, involving teams right across our business and all around the world.

It brings together specific enhancements requested by our customers, with our in-depth understanding of developments in the finance function and the technology and market trends that will define and drive customer needs, in both the near future and the longer term.

In particular, we set out to deliver enhanced accessibility, consistency and “user-friendliness”, including:

• screens designed to the latest Windows Vista™ & Microsoft® Office 2007 style standards for clarity, accessibility and useability
• tools embedded in Outlook® for non-finance users
• an advanced user interface that delivers a "Windows-like" level of interactivity for browser-based users
• consistent navigation and “logic” on which functions are commonly available within and between applications
• helping customers to ensure that the tools they provide to their staff are visually and functionally accessible. As well as screen layouts and colour usage, this includes customizable shortcuts to address the needs of keyboard-based users.

All in all, Neon offers state-of-the-art control and visibility, alongside the ease of use and flexibility to help organizations drive efficiency and improve effectiveness in their day-to-day operations.
